Terms and conditions

Last updated 30 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy from Delhi Gramophone Records at https://delhigramophonerecords.com. Placing an order means you accept them.

Every record is a single copy

We sell second-hand records. Each listing is one physical record, not a product with a stock count — when it sells, it is gone. Adding a record to your basket holds it for a short time so two people cannot buy the same copy; if you do not complete the order, it goes back on sale.

Condition and grading

Records are graded by hand on the Goldmine scale and photographed as they actually are. Grading is a careful human judgement, not a measurement — see how we grade for exactly what each grade means. If a record reaches you materially worse than its grade, we refund it in full.

Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and are the amount payable.
  • Any other currency shown is a convenience conversionat the day's rate. The rate and the postage are fixed onto your order at checkout and do not change afterwards.
  • An order is accepted once payment has cleared.
  • If a record is listed at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel and refund the order in full rather than complete it.

Delivery

See Shipping for costs and timescales. Delivery estimates are estimates — we cannot control couriers or customs. On international orders any import duty or tax is payable by you.

Cancellation and returns

See Returns, refunds and exchanges. In short: if the fault is ours — damaged, misdescribed, wrong or never delivered — we refund in full including postage and cover the return. If you change your mind about a record that is exactly as described, it can still come back within the return window, but a restocking fee applies and the return postage is yours to pay. Surface noise consistent with the stated grade is not a fault.

Using the site

The photographs, descriptions and grading notes on this site are ours. Please do not copy them for another shop or listing. You may not use this site unlawfully or attempt to disrupt it.

Liability

Our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, including postage. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Delhi have jurisdiction.
